Walter Wanderley - Saludos Amigos:
Walter
as Arranger
On the uncredited liner notes for "Rain Forest", it mentions that Walter arranged material for friend and recording artist João Gilberto in 1961. This work is mentioned here in detail in the "About Walter Wanderley" section, as well as being pictured and listed in the previous section, above. Walter then began his own recording work in '62. Once he came to the U.S. in 1966, Walter arranged most of the Verve albums himself; he co-arranged one of the A&M albums, and arranged both GNP/Crescendo albums.
