The CD reissue contains
(as bonus material)
tracks with Wes Montomery and The Wynton Kelly Trio as also heard on
the Verve LP "Willow Weep For Me" (pictured elsewhere on this site). These tracks are:
"Willow Weep For Me", "Portrait of Jennie", "Oh You Crazy Moon" and
"Misty". However, unlike these tracks on "Willow" - to
which Claus Ogerman added overdubbing of woodwinds and brass - these
tracks on the newly reissued "Smokin'" CD have the overdubbing
completely removed. See liner notes below for further explanation
& clarification.
